Wow. I can’t believe we are actually launching CareerQueen. For all of my readers, I can’t tell you how long this website has been in the works for, literally, years! I wanted to purchase the CareerQueen web domain years and years ago and it wasn’t available. Finally, about two years ago, I was able to purchase the domain from the previous owner. And now, thanks to countless hours of help from our team, ambassadors, and alumni – here we are!
The best part of my journey as CEO of InternQueen has been watching former students (who used my site in college) enter the real world and grow into future leaders at their companies. Some of our alumni have created their own companies and others are working at the top companies around the globe. I’m excited to announce that these change-makers are contributing to the content of our new site, CareerQueen. With this new site, you’ll hear career advice from me (of course) but also from our alumni network – real people learning and growing in the real world.
For phase 1 of our launch, CareerQueen will feature great content – showing you how to get from where you are to where you WANT to be. For phase 2 (launching soon!), we will also feature a boutique recruitment agency so that we can be helpful in the actual job search and placement process.
This is only my first post of many to come, but for all of my former InternQueen fans – welcome back to the community, we’re excited to have you and move forward with this new endeavor together!
